1. Accepting These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BulaHub ("the app"), a community events app for discovering kava bar events on Florida's Space Coast. By creating an account or otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use BulaHub. Kava is an age-restricted substance in Florida, so the app is for adults only. By using the app, you represent that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may not use BulaHub.

2. Your Account

You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when using the app and to update it if it changes. You may not impersonate another person or business, or claim a Host Page you do not own or operate.

One person may use the app as a member (to browse and RSVP) or as a host (to create events and manage a Host Page), and may switch between these roles at any time.

3. Host Pages and Events

If you claim a Host Page, you confirm that you are the owner or an authorized representative of that business. Claiming a Host Page you do not have the right to manage may result in the page being revoked and your account being restricted.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of the event details they post, including date, time, location, and description. BulaHub is a listing platform — we do not verify every detail of every event and are not responsible for events being canceled, moved, or not as described.

Hosts may reschedule or cancel events they have created. When they do, attendees who RSVP'd receive a notification. Hosts should communicate clearly and promptly with their community.

Hosts can mark their venue as 21+ only, or mark individual events as 21+ only. A 21+ badge is shown on those listings. Hosts are responsible for enforcing their own age policies at the door. BulaHub does not verify the age policy — it is informational only.

Admins may edit Host Page profiles and images, including on behalf of owners, to keep listings accurate and consistent.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you submit to BulaHub, such as event descriptions and Host Page images. By posting it, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, sexually explicit, misleading, or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

Profile pictures and banners uploaded for a Host Page are stored in our cloud storage and displayed to other users. Make sure you have the rights to any image you upload.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to the community, without notice.

5. Community Reports

Users can report events they believe are inaccurate, duplicated, spam, or otherwise inappropriate. Reports are reviewed by our admin team. We may remove reported content or take action against accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.

Filing a report in bad faith or to harass another host may result in restrictions on your account.

6. RSVPs and Notifications

RSVPs (saved, interested, going) are an expression of your plans and are visible to other users in aggregate counts. They are not a reservation and do not guarantee entry, attendance, or any benefit at the event.

With your permission, we send push notifications about events you've RSVP'd to, such as reschedule or cancel alerts. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

Attempt to access another user's account, data, or Host Page without permission.

Interfere with the app's operation, including its servers, databases, or APIs.

Use automated tools to scrape, aggregate, or repurpose listings without our written consent.

Post or transmit malware, spam, or any malicious code.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except as permitted by law.

8. Admin Role

BulaHub designates certain accounts as admins to manage reports, create Host Pages, and edit listings for accuracy. Admin decisions about content removal or account restrictions are at our discretion and are final.

9. Disclaimers

BulaHub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate or complete.

Events listed in the app are hosted by third parties. We are not responsible for what happens at an event, including changes to time, location, content, or atmosphere. Attend at your own discretion.

Kava and other beverages referenced in listings are consumed at your own risk. We do not provide health advice. Consult a healthcare professional if you have questions about kava or any substance.

21+ badges shown on Host Pages and events are informational only and reflect what the host has told us. The venue makes the final decision on entry and age verification. BulaHub is not responsible if a venue refuses entry, requires additional ID, or has a different policy than the badge suggests.

You are responsible for following all local laws regarding kava and other age-restricted substances, including carrying valid ID when attending 21+ events.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BulaHub and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, to use the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms or if we believe your conduct harms the community or the service. On termination, your right to use the app ends immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
